Tesamorelin is a synthetic peptide that stimulates the release of growth hormone from the pituitary gland. It is used primarily to reduce visceral fat in patients with HIV-associated lipodystrophy, as well as to improve overall metabolic health and body composition. Tesamorelin works by mimicking the action of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), promoting fat loss and improving muscle mass.
